I can not believe the twins are 8 months!! Why does time seem to go faster when there are two of them?? I remember the months passing quickly with Kendal and Madison but these months just seem to be flying by!! This was the month of milestones! The girls just kept doing new things it seemed like every single day!
Olivia
** I am not sure how much she weighs but by my highly scientific method of standing on the scale with her she is roughly 15 pounds.
**She "pretty much" sleeps though the night between 9-10 hours, most nights (until this last week) she would wake around 3am for a bottle - but just the past week she has stopped needing the bottle YAY!!!!! She also naps at a minimum of 2 times per day for an hour to two hours!
**She eats 3 meals of solid food a day -- she loves anything fruit related (Of course) But she also loves her veggies- broccoli, carrots, and sweet potatoes being her favorite.
** She still loves her bottle and gets it about 3-4 times a day mostly before naps.
** She has ONE new tooth!! Her first tooth came through on April 8th! She is working on her second one that should be through any day now!
** She loves to roll around the floor and pushes herself all over the place-- BACKWARDS! She just started pushing up on all fours doing some mini rocking!
** But by far her favorite thing to do is scream and the top of her lungs all.day.everyday.... she also does this most times with her foot in her mouth (I think its her new teether)
** She is so ticklish no matter where she is tickled and we love to tickle her!
Livy is such the thinking and looks around taking in everything. She is distracted by her sisters all the time watching every move they make. She loves her "little sister" Charlotte especially pushing on her and grabbing her teething necklace. She is getting so much hair and filling out- She's come a long way since her NICU days!! We love to listen to her talk and giggle all the time-especially when she scrunches up her nose! We love you so much Livy girl!!
Charlotte:
**Again with my scientific method of weighing my children Charlotte is around 18 pounds and is becoming too heavy for her big sisters (especially Madison) To carry around!
** She is an excellent sleeper and has been sleeping through the night for quite a while. She will sleep between 9-10 hours. She has been known to wake at 3am also but is just fine with getting her paci. She also takes at least 2 nap per day also between 1-2 hours.
**Charlotte also eats 3 solid meals per day and would probably eat A LOT more if I let her (hmmm maybe I need too). She really loves any and all food I don't think there has been a food she hasn't eaten. She also has 3-4 bottles per day again before nap. She is taking after her big sister Kendal eating whatever is put in front of her and then usually off of mommy and daddy's plates!
**Charlie still doesn't have any teeth! And I don't see any coming soon!
** She has started to crawl getting about 2-3 scoots at a time before she stops. She is so much fun to watch. She has also learned to sit herself up from the crawling position (Ok that happened just this morning but I'm counting it). She also gets herself into her favorite yoga move-Downward Dog- all the time and has just started walking her feet forward (again just this morning). She is for sure on the move and starting to get into everything!
**She is very talkative and loves to talk to her sisters and of course laugh at all of their stilly faces and noises. She screams only when she is eating and its her sister's turn to have a bite.
Charlotte is our little happy girl she loves to laugh and smile almost all the time (Except when she is hungry). She absolutely adores her sisters and loves to play with them. She also loves to pull on Olivia's teething necklace to the point of pulling her over. She is quite the bully when it comes to toys and paci's she is always taking whatever Olivia has no matter what it is. I am sure Livy will learn to hold her own at some point especially with those teeth! We love you Charlotte Ann.
Happy 8 Months Baby Girls we can't wait to see what the next month brings-- I am guessing a lot of baby proofing...
