What's Up Life...

Exactly... right?
Here comes a new and improved Blog for you all! It's literally been forever since I last wrote, no I am serious we are talking 15 whole months!! Life gets crazy sometimes and to be quite honest life is crazy ALL the time these days around our house. So I thought what better way to relaunch this blog than with a new name that really fits this season of our life! "What's up Life"... I really wanted a name that could represent all the "stuff" that we have going on, all the activities the kids are involved in, what the husband and I are up to, and so much more.

Yes, the last 15 months have been pretty crazy, and if you don't follow me on social media then I'm sure all the updates will start making sense soon. I really did miss my little blog and my readers during my break and I thought about things I could blog about often. It was simply a matter of finding time to sit and write. I've always loved writing and it has been a way for me to connect with others so for 2019 I'm bringing it back. I've learned from the past and my time away that it really doesn't matter how often I blog, what matters is that I make a connection when I do. I hope that you will find the same blog you remember from before with just a bit more fun and laughs.

Now for a quick update...
All the happenings in 2018
-We went north for Christmas (2017) and we all came back sick! It took us nearly the entire rest of winter break to get back to feeling better.
-The twins finished up VPK and moved up a level in Gymnastics, and of course started kindergarten in the fall
-Madison was involved with Odyssey of the Mind and her team won at the county level and went to states, they didn't win but it was a fun experience for us all
-Curt (the husband) coached several soccer teams and had a blast. The kids he coached really loved him and our kids loved to watch the games and eat all the snacks from their Aunt Bridget
-Kendal finished up her first year of cheerleading and rolled right into her 8th grade year of cheer.
-Parker really grew a lot during 2018, she found her voice and her words and there has been no stopping her since!
-We went to New Mexico in May to visit with my side of the family. My nephew graduated from high school and we all came from different parts of the country to celebrate
- I am continuing to coach my health and fitness groups and have started substitute teaching, it has been on of the biggest blessings for my personal growth
-WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!! Yes, in May we finally bought a house in Florida! What we thought might not happen until the end of the year came much quicker thanks to our amazing realtor and our willingness to take a leap!

So of course there's probably so much more I could share but that is the quick version! I can't wait to share more the life we've been living with the seven of us. we have many adventures planned for this year and it's going to be amazing!

Welcome back friends... I am so glad you're here!

Parker ~ 7 Months

Well it's official Parker is now closer to ONE than to being a newborn!! I was crazy to think that time would slow down for this 5th baby of ours but it in fact seems to be going faster. Parker is just so full of life and is really a great baby for us. She's been a little sick this past month and is right in the middle of getting those first few teeth so sleep has been a little lacking and restless. Aside from those two things going on this month Parker is just so happy. Every day she is giggling and smiling and her excitement continues to show in her whole body. Any bad day is quickly erased when you see her smile at you.

She has perfected her monster noises and is really great at using them to show you how excited she is about something. I think she is most excited about eating and her sisters... but I could go out on a limb and say her favorite is E A T I N G . Don't even think about putting her in the highchair without following with some food. Show her a spoon or bowl and this little one knows exactly what is coming her way. Even if it's a food she can't have she will still try to take it from you or try to win you over with her smile and entire body shaking so that you will give it to her. She will eat anything and we haven't found any food she doesn't like. New to her this month are puffs and apples, we put apple slices in her mesh teether and she goes to town... I may or may not have given her an actual apple piece just tonight to gum on. Her second favorite is her sisters, remember back when Parker was just 2 and 3 months?? Her sisters wanted to play with her all the time and it just wasn't all that fun when Parker couldn't play back. Now that little miss can sit up on her own and play with toys the twins are absolutely loving it. They play with her all the time and even sing to her when she is upset. The are the best big sisters (of course so are Kendal and Madison). I really  couldn't ask for anything better from these 4 girls.

Next week Parker gets to go on her first flight to visit her cousin Paisley for her big First Birthday.. I have a feeling we are going to hear lots of Monster Noises on this flight! It's hard to believe how lucky we have been with FIVE super easy babies... Parker is certainly one of THE easiest of the five, she just goes with the flow of everything. If she has to wait to eat, or wait to get out of the car, or even wait an extra few minutes in her crib after she wakes up she just does it. We love this little one so very much and she brings so much joy and happiness to our entire family.

Happy 7 Months Parker Elaine!!

Happy Half Birthday Parker!

Yes, it's true Parker is 6 months old... half way to ONE! Guess I better start planning that birthday party right?? No, I am serious I already have a board on Pinterest. So many changes for this little one, no surprise there as that is what each new month brings. Big changes and small ones each one making Parker the sweet little babe she is today.

Her personality is glowing and we simply cannot get enough of her. I watch her sleep so peacefully while her Daddy wants to put her in our bed every single night. She is full of life and loves to try new things each and every day. She sits up on her own without support ... until she tries to look to the left or right of course. She loves her sisters so very much and is always watching every thing they do. Giggles can be heard nearly every time they are playing with her. She has taken an intense interest in our dog Bella. She loves to grab at her and always has a big smile on her face whenever she catches a glimpse her.

As you guessed it Parker still loves to eat and is eating solids twice a day. She eats very well of course and gets extremely excited each time she sees her food or even a spoon. She's a bit of a chunk and we wouldn't want it any other way.

Her Smile brightens any room, makes any tough day better, and is completely contagious. We simply do not know what we would do without her. Happy 6 months Parker!

I want to thank you all for your amazing support last month when I decided to share my heart regarding milestones on Parker's 5 month post. It means so much to me to know that we can come together as mothers and as parents to support each other on this crazy ride we call parenting.
